Mortal Shell II Sunken Village: Arenas, Candles and the Chest

Where It Sits

Sunken Village lies past the Corrupted Gate, the last stretch of the opening region before Magdalena, Lady of the Woods.

Clearing It

1. Clear the first arena. The village opens with a forced combat bowl — no sneaking past.
2. Light the three candles. The candle trio is the area’s gate mechanic; all three must burn.
3. Open the chest. Your reward for the candle ritual — grab it before moving on.
4. Cleanse the Sunken Village Beacon. It is one of the seven required for Cleanse All Beacons, and your last comfortable checkpoint before the boss approach.

Survival Notes

This is the densest enemy stretch in the opening region — arenas chain with little downtime, which is exactly where posture discipline pays off (combat primer). Beta players who died here mostly died greedy: take one exchange, harden the counter-hit, reset.
